Rehab on the Track

Here’s a multimedia project I diligently worked on for the last month. T.J. Sapp, motocross rider, is a really interesting kid with an even more intriguing story. Check it out:

T.J. Sapp, 19, catches some air Oct. 15 on a jump at Finger Lakes State Park. Sapp is suffering from a rough past on and off the track.

Sapp crashes on a right turn on the dirt track at Finger Lakes State Park on Oct. 15. Sapp said it was harder to ride when the dirt is so dry from the lack of rain.

Sapp rides motocross through a painful back injury. He says he won’t look into surgery to correct the problem for fear of causing a relapse into a pain-killer addiction. Landing sky-high jumps is his drug now.
