Behind the Veil of Santa
On the eve of Christmas Eve, Ann Arbor resident and local Santa Claus Danny Maier dons the costume and persona of jolly Saint Nick. After applying an assortment of makeups and getting the approval of his family, he makes his way to Conor O’Neill’s Irish Pub. Maier has participated in the photos with Santa and sing-along for more than ten years and plans to continue the tradition.

Augusta Township Fog Fire
When Augusta Township resident David Bailow exited his home to walk his cat (his words), he looked across the street to see what he thought was a slowly moving dense fog. After further investigation, he discovered the adjacent mobile home had caught fire. Luckily, the structure has been vacated for a number of weeks.
